This certification is an important milestone for Retaining UK and demonstrates our continued commitment to quality, consistency and compliance across the manufacture of our retaining wall products.

Tim Brand and Casey Kelly of Retaining (UK) Ltd were delighted to attend the Subcontractor Social hosted by Bellway Homes last week, a great morning bringing together partners from across the industry.

It was an opportunity for us to hear more about Bellway’s vision for 2026 and beyond, as well as gain an insight into upcoming plans and priorities. The event was extremely well organised, with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and strengthening relationships across the supply chain.

At Retaining UK, we are proud to supply Bellway and value our partnership. We really do appreciate being included in events like this and being part of the wider conversation as the business continues to grow and evolve.

At Retaining (UK) Ltd we are committed to supporting the training and development of all our employees. We are extremely proud to have two exceptionally talented trainees on our team; Robbie Ayton, our in-house draughtsman, and Casey Kelly, our trainee QS. Both of whom have taken on new roles within the business and relish the additional responsibility.

Today marks Robbie’s two-year anniversary with the Company, and during this time he has made incredible progress.

Casey has been with Retaining UK for just over a year, and during this time he has shown huge personal growth as he continues to develop his skills.

Both Robbie and Casey are currently studying on day release to gain professional qualifications in their respective fields. Robbie is working towards completing his degree and becoming a member of the Institute of Civil Engineers, while Casey is due to finish his HNC in Construction Management this summer, and hopes to progress on to a degree soon after.

It was an opportunity to remind ourselves just how important health and safety is, while also spending time together as a team. The day brought everyone together — factory staff, site teams, and office staff — reinforcing that safety is everyone’s responsibility.

The day included team-building activities, quizzes, and practical hazard-spotting assessments. We were also delighted to welcome Red Sky Foundation ❤️, who delivered excellent training on the use of defibrillators – a really valuable and informative session for the team.

With plenty of engagement throughout the day, it was a positive, worthwhile and fun way to start the year. A big thank you to everyone involved for making it such a success.
